day 6

Hey Honey,

Good to hear back from you! We are now in Port Moresby and will be heading to Bougainville in the morning (5 am!!!). Everything has gone very well-had a great meeting up in Mt. Hagen today w/2 youth leaders that have amazing potential of carrying the YM of Bougainville to the next level! Everything has been great...it was good to meet the Floyds and the Keilholtz's-both are very long term missionaries here in PNG! Safety has been no issue (other than the dodgy flight in and out of Fugwa, but no more small planes on this trip-so no worries!). We will be out of contact until the night before we get home-so I just wanted to say hello-I love you-and kiss/cuddle my girls for me!!! I really miss you guys and can't wait to see you in a weeks time! I'm glad you have had people to chat w/and that everything is going well!

I Love You Very Much!,
Josh

so no more contact until the 29th :( that needs a sad face. we have been busy here though so hopefully the time will fly. cail had a play date today with a little boy from our church named mako. it was fun to go and play at his house and we learned again about sharing and playing nicely with others (challenging for adults let alone 2 year olds). there was a bit of pushing pulling and screaming but over all we had a great time. cail was not the only one being picked on either, she did her share of fighting back. i am not sure how to get her to understand that hitting is not a game. she just plays rough and hitting is her new thing this last week. oh where oh where has my gentle little baby gone?

she has turned into a fun, energetic, laughing little girl! she cracks me up with the stuff she comes up with. still thinks santa is noah, baby Jesus is averie, the shepherd boy is tail dwace (cail grayce), will not eat stir fried cabbage because she thinks it's skin (i don't know where she got that from yuck), loves broccoli, hates green beans, and sings all day long!!! she sure is a joy.

what the angels sing to Jesus-
growy da Dod in da highest wees on da if and da da da da men.
translation-glory to God in the highest. peace on the earth and good will to men!

averie has discovered she has a tongue. she sits with her tongue out all day long, bah bah bahing and making all other sorts of noises. last night i was giving her kisses and she started reaching up and grabbing my face to pull me in for a wide open mouth slobbery face kiss!!! somehow slobbery kisses are just what moms cannot get enough of. she also ate a whole banana, a slice of melon and a piece of bread (thats a new one) for lunch. wow she can eat a lot!!! she is just the kind of baby you want to squeeze (don't worry family back home your chance is coming soon!!!!!).

well that better be all for now. more tomorrow!
